:: Ouch Beads

Well some of you remember that I declared my return to clay but in a new way, well these beads are the first cab off the clay rank!

The idea is that you can buy one substantial bead to put on your own necklace.
The Tiffany/Pandora type long chains are very popular at the minute, I have one! (see above)

I have a range of charms hanging off mine, which I change around, so these beads can just add to your jewellery possibilities!

They are pretty big, 4-5 cm and totes handmade! They sit nicely in your hand too, very tactile!

There are more to come, other colours, shapes and sizes in the kiln as I type!
What do you think?
Seriously fire away!
Do I need to source chains?
Would you wear the Ouch bead?

These are going into the shop soon!

The GIVEAWAY ends tomorrow! ........Have you joined?
Please do, your very welcome!

Blog-Design-Dedication #4

BLOG
This Pink Macramé Hanging basket has been
inspired by Brismod @ Fun and VJ's!

DESIGN
A worthy tropical fruit basket!
I think it would make a great addition to any Queenslander, but the Queenslander in question is the one that Jason is restoring!

This Husband and Wife team are dedicated to forge this Old house into a lovely home and they share their adventures with us, along the way!

Now I'm not sure Brismod is a pink girl but she sure loves tropical, have you read the pineapple series on her blog and this pink reminds me of fruit punch and I can imagine many a soiree at her place on a balmy night!

Have you seen her beautiful profile pic? She's certainly channeling a Tahitian Princess!

Throughout Brismod's lovingly called "Sows Ear", she has many beautifully curated displays of her thrift finds and Mid Century Australian furniture.

Teak features alot, which is why she must join "The Teak Lovers Society",(another post, another day)Butterfly chairs and much more!

A beautiful glass collection both Scandinavian and Australian bark glass....is only rivaled by the stain glass windows of her Queenslander home. (sweet pops of colour, dazzle the eye)
She also has a few handsome West Germans too!

All these goodies are surrounded by masses of VJ, expertly painted by the very capable and often topless Jason.....thanks Jason we like to see a man working!

I think the simplicity of this hanger with it's fruit punch colour, sling design and wicker basket, would go nicely!

Brismod, your blog is very inspiring and I've learnt so much from your posts and I look forward to seeing the "Sows Ears" journey unfold!

:: Blooming lovely and lots of green

The Peonies have come into their own and deserved another feature, who would have roses when these exist!

New recruit and very spike! He loves Teak though, so forgiven!

A heart shaped Succulent, just hanging around!

 New Fern, care of IKEA!
They have the best and cheapest plants but you must get there when the plants are fresh, cause I don't think they like hanging around flat packs for too long!

Oh! How did you get there, Spring? Cheeky Owl!

And look at your nice new feathers...in indigo, fancy!

No I'll put you back into the shop where you belong!
Do you have a mischievous Owl in your home?
You can get one here!

Speaking of mischief, my other half has decided to create some of his own, he's blogging now!

Do pop over if you'd like, say hello!
Happy weekend to you
