:: Charley Harper

 Have you seen the work of Charley Harper before?
They are not just for children but for the child in all of us.
I really admire they way he uses the design elements and principles, colour, shape, line and symmetry, repetition, scale...to name a few!

Charles Harper’s wildlife art is created without the fuss and feathers. Minimal realism, he calls it, “I don’t try to put everything in, I try to leave everything out”. he explains, adding impishly, “I never count the feathers in the wings; I just count the wings.”

I don't think I could tire looking at his illustrations....also I love the mid century aesthetic!
