Sailing.....

I saw the great work of Ann Wood and I was so inspired to create my own boat, for the small ones bedroom.
It was so much fun, I think, I will have to do some more.......

Hanging
Garden
of
Babylon.
I love the old adage, bring the outside in, so these are my latest additions.
Succulents and Air plants are so easy to care for and the architectural forms appeal to my mid century aesthetic!
......And who doesn't like green?

Commitment.
Today I learnt how to add buttons onto my blog, I have been trying for ages but finally the penny dropped and BINGO!
So to celebrate I'm publicly committing to support the Softies for Mirabel-Christmas Craft Appeal!

So now I will busy myself with the crochet hook and create away!
I previously made my son a crochet softie named Ted, and I have used Pip's "Meet me at Mikes" fame, Panda crochet pattern for a friends new baby, so there are no excuses!

Meet TED, I modified the panda pattern from Meet Me At Mikes, great book!

Meet Panda, my first ever crochet toy, what a challenge, it took me 5 goes to get it right but perseverance wins out in the end!
