Nice an early this morning I made a beeline for the CAE, to install my macramé in their kiosk window!
Which happens to be in the busiest coffee drinking, cake eating part of Melbs, Flinders lane!
The installation is to promote my macramé classes but also my work as well.
I think I would love to dress more windows in macramé, it was fun!
I'm pretty happy with today's effort!
I felt like a real artist,....I haven't felt like that for a while!
My reward is a roast chicken dinner, thanks to Mr Ouch!
Pippa
Love your display...very artistic!
ReplyDeleteCheers Carol! x
DeleteThat wall hanging is stunning Pippa, a real tribute to the 70's and all those women (like the ones in those old macrame books I gave you) who hung hooks from their ceilings, and battled blisters from that hairy, stringy twine they used to use. I really, REALLY love it.
ReplyDeleteOh Kylie thanks! It was a very satisfing moment to see my macrame out of the house for an airing!
DeleteI'm reallu loving the wall hangings and have more in the pipeline!xx
hey pippa, your a winner with your chicken dinner and macramé swinger!!....nope not drunk just childish! x
ReplyDeleteWouldn't be a worthy comment Al, if you didn't rythme it for me!
DeleteThe dinner was lovely...Mr Ouch has bettered my attempts at yorkshire puddings, now my only role in the home is to make it pretty.... no messy!
