Thought I needed a challenge!
I have had the desire to create a wall hanging for ages but to find the thick twine at a reasonable cost is difficult....but I found some :)
$1 for 5m is very reasonable! ...anymore and it would not be achievable!
I have bought up big!
and I need them to continue the pattern I have started.
I'm knotting 'by eye' so to speak because I don't know what 225m of twine will give me?
I will keep you posted!
I thinks she'll be a bit special when finished?

I saw these beauties on eBay and pounced....lets just say I needed both and we'll be eating beans and rice for a while :)
OMG! I LOVE your ladies! I am so jealous. Happy for you Pipstar, but INSANELY jealous! They are beautiful. Look at their lovely long legs!!!Are they from Aus, or have they had a long flight over?

Oh YES, just wondeful Pippa, Im envious...makes me want to create again...but as you said...the cost! But I still love large hangings like this. Can't wait to see it finished. The dyed ends will ground it beautifully.

DeleteThat wall hanging is simply stunning. You are one very talented lady. My mum just dug up some of her mum's old macrame instructions. They are on very old, yellow paper that looks like it has been written on a typewriter! So I'm going to give this macrame business a try. You are very inspirational.
