I heart Christmas Decorations

I love to design, make and embroider Christmas decorations, here are some of my pieces.
It makes the tree, that little bit nicer when you go handmade. I hope your Christmas preparations are going well?

So far I have avoided the masses, by online shopping, but I will forget something or someone sooner or later...so one visit to the shops for the Christmas buzz will no doubt happen!

The charm of retro

Via http://junkgardengirl.blogspot.com/
I love to listen to By Design

I'm a keen pod caster, I spend alot of time in children's playground and nothing passes the "pushing on the swings" time, like a podcast...

but this ones about Retro everything, speaking is Professor Adrian Franklin, Sociologist, University of Tasmania, author and a presenter on ABC TV's Collectors!

This little Piggy is going to market!

This is very exciting news, my Mini Modern Macrame's are going to market! ...not one but two Christmas markets in Melbourne, this December!
I will post more details soon but here are some pics of my recent knotting extravaganza!

I had a collection of wooden bangles which I no longer wear, they make great hangers!

Do you like my recent addition of felted balls? gone are the wooden beads from the seventies...actually I love the beads but couldn't source ones I like and I always aim to use what I can find.
I found my collection of felt balls and I think I put them to good use!
All the succulents are home grown and have made happy homes in their new vessels...gotta love the air plants too...don't get me excited about air plants.... I could talk for hours!
If you haven't guessed already, I'm a bit over the moon for this new venture, thanks for looking and wish me luck! :)

G Plan

I'm a chair addict but when these G plan nest of tables came up on eBay...I had to have!

As soon as it was delivered I flicked through my
G plan book and I wanted to share.

G plan was made in the UK by High Wycombe,  designed by Donald Gomme.
It was the furniture for everyday people, for all budgets. I remember my parents and grandparents had some G plan in their homes.

If you want to see more British Mid Century furniture and decor see the 'Made in Dagenham" film, good flick but the set's are amazing!

I love fresh flowers

The G plan bible

Would love a ladderax system in my home.

Beautiful illustration
Comfy chair..yes please.

More great illustrations.

This is the closest piece of furniture I could find in the book, that matched mine!
