My lastest finds, Midwinter Stylecraft (UK) bowl (fashion shape) and a cake stand. 

I picked up the bowl from a garage sale and the cake stand via Etsy, all the way from Canada.

It took 3 months!

 I'm not usually big on florals but this pattern has a bit of a rock in roll edge, with the fine black crisscross pattern behind the roses.

The rose is a robust rose too not a soft romantic whimsical type...I do like a bit of an edge!
And I'm a sucker for Midwinter!

I was overjoyed to find this beauty at the op shop for $3.00.

I have admired Flensted Mobiles for a while now and these swallows retail for AUD $30.00.

I'm very pleased!

On another note, I'm now ready to fill my shop with goodies.

 I will work feverishly to create some new wares. 

A special thanks to those who have visited my shop only to be dissappointed, 

I'm so very sorry and stupidly thought no one would visit,

(not very bright)so off I go to do some knotting!

Urrrrr, mmmm........well...YES I blurted! When asked by a retailer.

Today was delivery day for the Modern Times Pop Up Shop #3, ready for opening night, on Friday the 20th of April. 

I spent the morning mooching around all the uber cool shops in Collingwood, dreaming my many ouchflower dreams?

I got talking with the lady running the "The Super Cool" pop up shop, and she asked the question....Are you a Creative?

 I'm called many things.....Mama by my Son, Pippi by my mother, Sister by my Brother, Philippa by my Husband, Pip by my old school friends and Mrs Taylor or Miss by my students....

I think I like this new title, it seems different somehow then Designer or Maker...Creative makes everything seem possible!

I have added sphagnum moss to the glass vessels, for effect!

Tagged and trust up, for travel!

Adding the cuttings, creating mini gardens is the fun bit!

:: Mid Century FAB

 A frenzy of styling occurred today!

My Eames "Fabpat" arrived safe and sound from the U.S, within minutes she was framed and on the wall.

I grabbed a few things in pink and yellow and gave my sideboard wall a lift.

I'm slowly colour blocking my home, see this link for my blue wall!

If you have previously admired these prints, you're not wrong, they are beautiful and fit nicely into an IKEA Ribba frame!

 Great news........

I have been asked to participate again in the Modern Times Pop Up Shop, now #3..........YEAH!!

Meet Big Mama Owl, all 108 m of twine! Hoot Hoot!

The shop opens mid April, more details soon, must go back to knotting!
