Thanks Dana, Donna's Owl was a treat to make, they are now firm friends!' I have contemplated black? but might start with dark blue, we'll see! The natural twine does speak for itself though!
There is something about a white owl - I think you should call the next one snow...but I'm liking the dark blue, and what about one in apple green? Imagine how gorgeous she would look against a white wall in a modern home... Then there's yellow, against a black or dark grey wall, oh Pippa, the possibilities are endless. I love their faces, so serene.
Hi MMMC, they take around 15hrs, give or take, a bit more with dyeing the twine but if you'd like an orange one specifically, then it's easily done! Let me know? xx
Spring is lovely. I'm a big fan of the natural, but the one you did for Donna was fantastic too.
ReplyDeleteWhat a thoroughly modern owl :) Ray.

She's great! You are very clever, just like an owl! Ada :)
ReplyDeleteI think a blue one first Kylie but yes all those colours you mention, would be great!
ReplyDeleteI will keep you posted! :)
Thanks Ada for your Hoot of a comment :)
Donna's blue one was very sweet esp. against mod white walls.
ReplyDeleteIt's lovely! Colour would be great. I for one am loving yellow at the moment. x
ReplyDeleteNavy is a good idea for sure. How about chartreuse? :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Simmone, Col, and Rebecca! Over the next coming months, I will dye up a storm! :)
ReplyDeleteI'm thinking an orange one. How long does it take you to make them? I do love them. Damn it!
